The 18th China International Hardware Show is all set to usher participants as event preparation gets into its final stages and will take place in Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Centre in 10-12 October 2018. As the leading hardware show in Asia and the second largest in the world, organised by Koelnmesse and China National Hardware Association (CNHA), CIHS reveals the latest products and technology to the whole industry and proofs itself as the “the benchmark of the Chinese hardware industry”.

CIHS 2018 will cover an exhibition area of 160,000 square metres for 3,316 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions by virtue of its globalisation and professionalisation. During three-day show, brands and enterprises from Germany, U.S., India, Korea, China mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as countries and regions of the “Belt and Road” will showcase their unique products and technologies. CIHS can expect more than 50,000 international and local visitors comprised of manufacturers, service providers, buyers and industrial professionals from the tool, lock and security, building hardware, mechanical and electrical equipment industry this year.

This year, leading international brands such as Allit form Germany, CORAZZI from Italy, PREXISO from Switzerland, UJI STAR from Japan, BLACK JACK, GARDEX, MEDALLAY EXPORTS from India, KOISS, CAYMAN from Korea, KARBOSAN from Turkey are set to display their representative products.

In addition, pavilions organised by various countries and regions such as German, Indian, Korean, as well as Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei, and Hardware Hand Tool Manufacturers’ Association have all confirmed their participation this year.

Key buyers from the industry worldwide who visited the last edition have given positive credit and shown great interest in this year’s show. Among them are Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Do it Best Corp. from U.S., Obi, Hahn+Kolb Group from Germany, and Alibaba’s e-commerce platforms from China. Additionally, trade buyers such as Suzhou Electrical and Mechanical Hardware Mart, RunTai Market, Shanghai Jinshan International Trading City, as well as VIP buyers from Hebei, Shandong, Linyi and Jiangsu invited by the China Hardware and Electromechanical Chamber of Commerce will also source at the event this year.

Inspiring supporting programme

Moreover, covering the comprehensive hardware industry and aiming cutting-edge technologies and enduring high-quality products, the newly set Classic & Innovation Gallery is poised to identify potential demand from international and local trade buyers, present classics and innovative technologies to lead the development trend of the Chinese hardware industry. In the meantime, forums and seminars such as Grinding & Cutting Application Technology Forum, Anping Silk Screen Centennial Activities, Intelligent Hardware Industry Innovation Summit BBS (Shanghai station) & Intelligent Hardware Driven Real Estate Fine Decoration Scene Intelligence, International Open Locks Competition and Intelligent Locks Dealers Conference will take place. In addition, there are several forums covering trends regarding the technology, market, real estate which lead to the joint production and research in hardware industry.

New co-located sub-industrial exhibitions China International Building Hardware & Fasteners Show and China International Locks & Security Show

The two co-located sub-industrial exhibitions will make their first debut during CIHS this year, thereby facilitating the comprehensive development of the hardware industry. For the past several editions, the organiser has successfully established fastener, nail, door & window, furniture hardware and locks & accessories zones and accumulated experiences in organising shows in relevant segments. Manufacturers and dealers in the building hardware and locks industries have shown their great support in these two exhibitions, and visitors shall expect nearly 500 exhibitors from the local manufacturing and leading technology industrial base.
