In tandem with its 10th anniversary, CIHS 2010 will present exhibitors and guests with a string of exciting fringe events and infinite opportunities in the booming Chinese market.
"As the annual international meeting place for the industry, China International Hardware Show is indispensable to the entire hardware and DIY sectors in Asia. It is an event not to be missed!” said Mr. Zhang Dongli, Chairman, China National Hardware Association (CNHA).
“Over the last ten years we’ve worked hard to establish China International Hardware Fair to be one of Asia’s most prominent trade fairs in the hardware and DIY industry and I am proud to say that we have achieved that. Exhibitor numbers have increased by more than 600 percent to 2,016, visitors by 350 percent to reach 35,000 and the scale of the event has grown by about 13 times to the current 103,500sqm. This year, to commemorate this significant occasion we will be unveiling some very exciting plans. At the same time, we will continue to strive for excellence and provide more value to our exhibitors and visitors," added Mr. David Feng, Managing Director, Koelnmesse Co., Ltd. in China.
CIHS is regarded by numerous authoritative trade associations around the world as the ideal launch pad for the manufacturers they represent. Prominent country pavilions led by the Association of German Tool Manufacturers (FWI), the Taiwan Hand Tools Manufacturers` Association, the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei, the Taichung Importers and Exporters Chamber of Commerce, the Spanish Hand Tools Manufacturers Association (Herramex) and the Spanish Federation of Manufacturers Exporting Hardware Products (COFEARFE) respectively further boost the importance of the coming CIHS 2010. The Australian Pavilion will also be featured at the event for the second year.
The last CIHS featured 2,016 brands from 18 countries and regions and drew about 35,000 domestic and international professional visitors.
